Up to 7800 kilo tonnes of textile waste is accumulated in India annually; the largest share of which, an estimated 51%, originates from Indian consumers – post-consumer waste. India’s textile waste accounts for 8.5% of the global total.
We can change this from happening just by swapping of clothes. For the items in your closet that hold up space and you don’t want to throw them but don’t know what to do with them. Just bring them to SWAP 2.0 and exchange it for something new.
There are lots of ways to be a part of the circular economy by swapping, donating, renting, etc.
